Nestled around 20 km from Dehradun on the Haridwar–Rishikesh highway, Lachhiwala sits beside the Suswa (Song) River and spans roughly 80 acres. Originally opened as a picnic spot in 1982, it evolved into a full-fledged nature park in 2021, featuring a cultural centre, musical fountains, butterfly garden, and a kid’s play area.

  • By road: 20–22 km from Dehradun via NH-72; regular buses and taxis are available.
  • By train: Nearest is Dehradun Railway Station (~19 km), then a taxi or bus.
  • By air: Jolly Grant Airport (~14–18 km away), followed by road travel.
